Yoink is a two-part distributed system. Part one is a mobile app that runs on Android* devices. The second part is a plugin for your eCommerce website that generates printable location codes and keeps track of product counts by physical location. Yoink Mobile allows you to access the shared product location data so you can quickly find items that were received by other members of your team. Yoink Mobile also allows team members to use their mobile device's camera to keep product location counts up to date without slowing down.

eCommerce Integration

Yoink presently integrates with Woo Commerce, an open-source/freely-available eCommerce plugin for WordPress, which is also open-source/freely-available. Please let us know if you're interested in integrating with other platforms.

Flexible Location Codes

Yoink has a flexible system to generate addresses that are both human-friendly and machinable for every location in multiple warehouses. Yoink can handle any layout you've arrived at in sub-dividing rooms, shelves and bins, etc. You can use Yoink to incrementally batch-print QR code labels that uniquely identify each sub-division and enable rapid information updates right from the store-room floor. To learn more about our innovative addressing system, you can preview the documentation.

Locate and Receive Inventory

The Yoink Mobile app generates a searchable full-text index over each of the products in your eCommerce store. When receiving new items from your suppliers, team members only have to enter a few letters to find the product they're handling.

Once they've selected a product, they get a list of existing locations where matching items are already stashed. On arrival, all they have to do is scan the location code to confirm which stash they chose and then enter the quantity being added on a large-button number pad.

Fill Orders

The mobile app can load the list of open orders from your eCommerce system and pick-lists with item locations for each order. Team members can call digital dibs on an order to avoid duplicating work. They can scan location codes to deduct from the centralized quantity count for that location and check off the items as they go. If you need to ship a partially filled order, Yoink will help you keep track of which items remain unfulfilled.

Commandeer Items

You can deduct items from the system irrespective of eCommerce orders. E.g., if you have a trade show or an in-person/will-call order, just scan the location code and confirm the number of items taken.

Move Items

You can reorganize and consolidate by scanning items from one location into personal custody and then depositing them at their new home with another brief scan.

Audit, Analyze and Adjust

You can export a snapshot of all quantities in all locations in comma-separated values (CSV) format compatible with most any analysis software imaginable. E.g., you can load the list in your spreadsheet app to make pretty charts or perform audits. You can correct any deviations from the expected quantity by setting an absolute value in Yoink Mobile.
